The Ewing Arts Commission and Art Has No Boundaries (AHNB) are pleased to once again partner with The Arc Mercer, presenting a new art exhibition at the Ewing Township Municipal Building as part of the Township’s Featured Artist Program. Entitled “Emotional Landscapes,” the show will focus on emotion.
The exhibition will be headlined by a reception on November 7 from 6 to 8 pm which will include live music performed by Arc’s music staff. Attendees will also have a chance to meet the artists, hear some spoken word, and purchase artwork in support of the Mercer Arc programs.
“We are so excited to bring this remarkable group together again and look forward to some amazing performances and artwork,” said Melissa Bennet of AHNB.
The show is curated to highlight the artistry and creativity of local artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) whose artistry may not have been recognized publicly. The Arc Mercer constantly seeks meaningful partnerships for community support and integration for the individuals that they serve.
“Ewing Township is proud to provide a platform for artists of all backgrounds, including the incredible individuals from Arc Mercer," said Mayor Bert Steinmann. "Having this art exhibit at Town Hall means more than just showcasing talent — it’s about celebrating the diversity and creativity that exists right here in our community. As someone who knows firsthand the importance of inclusion, I’m deeply honored to see this space being used to highlight the remarkable work of these artists. It’s a reminder that everyone has something beautiful to contribute.”
The event is part of Ewing’s ongoing Featured Artist Program which showcases the two- and three-dimensional art of local residents. November’s exhibit marks the fourth time that EAC, AHNB and Arc Mercer have partnered.
“The EAC is excited to once again partner with The Arc Mercer and Art Has No Boundaries,” added EAC Chair Beverly Keese-Kelly.
